Stephanies 4th grade class on International Day!

Learning how to decorate Christmas cookies and having a great time!

What a privalege to meet and spend the day with this lovely couple.  We were able to show them around Libreville and let them see the many ministries taking place here.

Katie turned 8 on November 7th.   Here she is with her sister's Nicole (L) & Steph (R).

Here we are together for Arnie's 40th birthday.  Matching outfits are "IN" here in Gabon.

Our guard caught some healthy looking catfish in the "stream" behind our guest house.

17th of August is Gabon's Independence Day.  Here you see Kristi Kommel, Nicole Solvig, Tiffany Semenchuk and Pauline Linton (in the back).  We are watching the parade on our main boulevard "Board de la Mer".  Kristi and Tiffany came to minister to our children this past August through Vacation Bible School at our Field Forum.

These are some of the "little" spectators waiting patiently for the parade to start.  It was Gabon's 47th Independence year.

During vacations, the beach is a great place to relax with the girls.  Katie organized a great tea party for the kids one Saturday afternoon.

Nicole's class features the country of South Africa.  The class is singing the National Anthem in 4 languages.

Katie pounds peanuts to make peanut butter!

This Cruise ship was actually docked in our seaport here in Libreville for a day.

Fred Pepper, Dr. Chris Lin, and Dr. Robert Trent were a blessing to us as they passed through our Guest House and Bongolo Hospital.

Sometimes our lives in the Guest House ministry give us special privaleges.  This past month, our upstairs guest house became the operating room for a friend.  Cheryl got to view some tissue removed from his eye lid.  It was so interesting and fun, for her!!

After the proceedure with Dr. Trent and technician Fred Pepper.
