Ways to PRAY for a Short Term Work Team or Medical Personnel

Pray for / that …

-         God would be glorified through the unity on the team

-         Humility and servant attitudes as they work with each other

-         God to work in their hearts and take home a deeper faith in God

-         God would  give them open and accepting hearts for the differences in cultures

-         ability to trust each other and deepen friendships within the team and with missionaries

-         strength for family members that stay back home & handle situations that come up

-         God would allow them to touch many lives for Him, they would be a light in the darkness.

-         They would praise God in the midst of circumstances they may not understand

-         the team would develop good relationships with the nationals they are working with

-         protection from construction accidents, sicknesses, travel on the roads, theft throughout their trip

-         their baggage arrives with them (many teams/visitors have short layovers)

-         God would give them a deeper burden for sharing the gospel among unsaved people overseas and in their country of origin

-         Good Communication between missionaries and work team / medical personnel before, during and after Short-term mission trip

-         Teams adjustment to the climate differences, language barriers, and cultural differences

-         Construction / medical work teams – that they will be able to adjust to different methods and techniques used in a different country

-         the removal of fears and uncertainties about food, water, etc.

-         they will be the “aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing”.

-         the receiving missionary hosts as they organize, feed, take care of needs & unexpected needs of the short-term team.

-         the receiving national partners as they learn to work with the doctors / pastors / work team members

-         against the fiery darts of Satan, that they may stand strong in the Lord
